4) "MatichaGanpati" campaign was organized on 4th and 5th September 2016 for this year's Ganeshotsav by the organization 'Ecofriends' created by the Department of Botany of Shri Shivaji Science College keeping in mind the social commitment. Pollution is increasing day by day due to the use of plaster of Paris and chemical dyes. The Department of Botany appealed to support their efforts to stop the damage to the environment by establishing aclayGanapati.
