GENERAL GUIDELINES

Who can apply?

This scheme is for UG/PG Students and Research Scholars of the Institute.

Steps for Application:

1. Identification of research area/topic of interest.
2. Discussion of the proposed topic with mentor before application.
3. Letter of recommendation from mentor/guide is required.
4. Plan a budget precisely (maximum ₹10,000 as initial funding).
5. Submit project proposal (soft & hard copy) in prescribed format along with recommendation letter and declaration form.

Process for Scrutiny of Proposals:

• Evaluation of project proposal by a Subject Expert.
• Quality of proposal and strength of mentor’s endorsement.
• Novelty and feasibility of the proposed project.
• Quality and interdisciplinary nature of application.
• Presentation and evaluation in expert committee meeting.

Post Project Requirements:

1. Submit full expenditure details of project expenses.
2. Submit final project report including:
   • Narrative report of research/activities with proof (publication/certificate).
   • Acknowledgement to the College in publications.
   • Authorship remains with investigator, mentor(s), and institution.
3. Present completed work (10-minute PowerPoint presentation).
