2) Department of Botany started “Plant of the activity” on the occasion of National Science Day on 28 February 2020 for PG students.

3)The department of Botany has arranged the visit of the students to Wadali garden specially to study the species of Bamboos.

4) "MatichaGanpati" campaign was organized on 4th and 5th September 2016 for this year's Ganeshotsav by the organization 'Ecofriends' created by the Department of Botany of Shri Shivaji Science College keeping in mind the social commitment. Pollution is increasing day by day due to the use of plaster of Paris and chemical dyes. The Department of Botany appealed to support their efforts to stop the damage to the environment by establishing aclayGanapati.

5) Two days residential “Nature Camp”21st and 22nd February, 2015at “Green Circle” Mardi road, Amravati on 21st and 22nd February 2015.
