Objectives:

The girl students gained awareness about health, hormonal changes, personal hygiene, cleanliness, nutrition and physical fitness, and received appropriate health guidance following the general health check-up. health, hygiene and cleanliness.
To provide guidance regarding hormonal changes during adolescence
To promote healthy lifestyle, nutrition and physical fitness.
To encourage regular health check-ups and preventive healthcare.
To educate students about balanced diet,regular exercise,adequate sleep and personal hygiene

Activity Report:

As part of the DBT Star College Outreach Activity organized by the Department of Chemistry, Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati, a programme on “Health Tips and Physical Fitness” was conducted for the girl students of Lal Bahadur Shastri Vidyalaya & Junior College, Shivani (Rasu.).
Prof. Vinay Deorao Kale, Principal of the school, and Dr. Premadevi Kalmegh-Choudhari, Guest Speaker, were warmly welcomed by presenting saplings as a symbol of health, growth and environmental awareness.
Dr. Premadevi Kalmegh-Choudhari delivered an informative lecture on girls’ health, hormonal changes, personal hygiene and cleanliness, healthy lifestyle, nutrition and physical fitness. A general health check-up of the girl students was also conducted. Based on the check-up, necessary health guidance, prescriptions and remedies were provided to the students wherever required. Simple fitness exercises were also demonstrated to promote physical well-being.
The programme was conducted by Dr. Vandana Khobragade, and Dr. Nilima Kalambe proposed the vote of thanks.
