1. Executive Summary
Under the aegis of the DBT, a specialized one-day workshop was organized to enhance the digital literacy and pedagogical skills of educators at Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh High School and Junior College Papal, Nandgaon Khandeshwar, Dist. Amravati. The program, titled "Teacher Empowerment Program by using ICT Tools," was designed to introduce modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools to simplify complex scientific concepts and streamline administrative academic tasks. A one-day workshop titled "Teacher Empowerment Program by using ICT Tools" was successfully conducted to bridge the gap between traditional teaching and modern digital pedagogy. The program aimed to equip educators with the skills necessary to integrate interactive simulations and digital management tools into their daily classroom routines.

2. Objectives
• To sensitize teachers to the importance of ICT in the modern education system.
• To provide practical, hands-on training on virtual laboratory platforms.
• To empower teachers to create paperless assessment environments using Google tools.
• To facilitate interactive learning experiences for students through simulations.
3. Resource Persons and Coordination
The program was meticulously planned and executed by the faculty members of the Department of Chemistry, Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati:
• Dr. Anjali B. Bodade: Activity In-charge, provided the conceptual framework and institutional support.
• Ms. Kanchan Vishramji Kumbhalkar: Activity In-charge and Resource Person, who conducted the technical sessions and hands-on training modules.
4. Technical Sessions and Methodology
The workshop was divided into three core technical modules, focusing on different aspects of digital education:
A. Virtual Laboratories (Science Focus)
Ms. Kanchan Kumbhalkar demonstrated how virtual platforms can supplement physical laboratories, especially in resource-constrained environments:
• PhET Simulations: Teachers practiced using interactive simulations for visualizing atomic structures and chemical reactions.
• Amrita V-Lab: A demonstration of the Ministry of Education's initiative providing remote access to simulation-based Labs.
• Chem-Collective: Participants performed virtual titrations and molarity experiments, learning how to guide students through trial-and-error without chemical waste.
B. Digital Classroom Management
• Google Classroom: The session covered the creation of digital classrooms, posting assignments, and maintaining a centralized repository for study materials.
C. Assessment and Feedback Tools
• Google Forms: A practical session on designing auto-graded quizzes, multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and collecting real-time feedback from students.
5. Participant Profile and Interaction
A total of 12 educators from the host institution participated. The session was highly interactive, characterized by:
• Real-time troubleshooting of technical queries.
• Discussion on how to implement these tools using available school infrastructure.
• Discussion on overcoming the digital divide in rural settings like Nandgaon Khandeshwar.
6. Outcome and Certification
The participants successfully developed the following skills:
1. Ability to demonstrate complex science experiments using Virtual Labs.
2. Competency in creating and managing a Digital Classroom.
3. Efficiency in conducting online assessments.
The workshop concluded with a formal Valedictory Function where certificates of participation were distributed. Dr Gangane, The Principal of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh High School and Junior College, Papal expressed gratitude to the Department of Chemistry, Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati for bringing high-level technical expertise to a rural educational center.
