REPORT
The National Conference on “Earth, Elements and Energy: Interdisciplinary Perspectives” (NCE3IP–2025) was successfully organized by the Departments of Chemistry, Physics and Geology of Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati, on 28th and 29th November 2025. The conference aimed to provide a common interdisciplinary platform for academicians, scientists, researchers and students to exchange ideas, share research findings and discuss emerging trends related to Earth sciences, material sciences, energy studies and environmental sustainability.
The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, scientists, research scholars and postgraduate students from within Maharashtra and other states of India.
Inaugural Function
The inaugural function was held on 28 November 2025 at 10.30 AM in the Anant Auditorium of the college.
The function was chaired by Hon’ble Shri Dilipbabu B. Ingole, Treasurer, Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati, whose presence and encouragement greatly motivated the organizing team.
The conference was formally inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Shashank T. Mhaske, Director, Institute of Chemical Sciences, Marathwada Campus, Jalna. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary research and collaborative approaches in addressing contemporary scientific and societal challenges.
The Chief Guest, Hon’ble Prof. (Dr.) Mahendra P. Dhore, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, delivered an inspiring address emphasizing quality research, innovation and academic integrity in higher education.
The function was further graced by the Guests of Honour, Prof. (Dr.) Subhas Chandra Pan, FRSC, Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati and Dr. V. G. Thakare, Secretary, Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati. Their insightful thoughts added great academic value to the inaugural session. Principal, Prof. (Dr.) G. V. Korpe, Convener, Prof. (Dr.) P. R. Mandlik, Head, Department of Chemistry Prof. (Dr.) P.A. Nagpure Head, Department of Physics, Dr. M.M. Deshmukh, Head, Department of Physics and to Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Ingole, IQAC Coordinator were on the dais at this occasion.
The inaugural program set a strong academic tone for the two-day conference.

Research Presentations
The conference provided a strong platform for young researchers and students to present their work.

The presentations covered a wide spectrum of themes including material science, renewable energy, environmental monitoring, computational studies, geochemical analysis and interdisciplinary applications. The sessions were highly interactive, with constructive discussions and valuable feedback from experts.

To encourage excellence in research and presentation skills, awards were instituted:

The evaluation was carried out by expert committees based on originality, scientific merit, clarity of presentation, innovation and relevance to the conference theme.

As a part of the conference activities, a souvenir of NCE3IP–2025 was published to commemorate the event. The souvenir includes messages from eminent dignitaries, details of the conference, abstracts of invited talks and research papers, and information about the organizing committee. The publication of the souvenir served as a valuable academic record of the conference and provided a lasting reference for participants, reflecting the interdisciplinary spirit and scholarly contributions of NCE3IP–2025.

Overall Outcome and Conclusion
The National Conference NCE3IP–2025 successfully achieved its objectives of fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, promoting research culture and encouraging collaboration among Chemistry, Physics and Geology professionals. The active participation of delegates from various institutions and states reflects the academic relevance and success of the conference.
The organizing committee expresses sincere gratitude to Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati, the Principal of Shri Shivaji Science College, conveners, co-conveners, faculty members, non-teaching staff, student volunteers, sponsors, speakers and participants for their invaluable contributions.
