Activity Report:
Department of Chemistry organized five days activity on the topic of “Micro Scale Techniques for Identification of Organic Compounds” for B.Sc.I Students (2025) from dated 28th Feb 2025 to 5th Feb under the guidance of Dr. G.V. Korpe, Principal, Shri. Shivaji Science College, Amravati, Dr. P. R. Mandlik, Head, Department of Chemistry, Dr. D.D. Khedkar, Coordinator, DBT Star Project , Dr. S. A. Wadhal , Dr. S. P. Ingole organizing Committee member.
National Science day was celebrates on 28th Feb 2025 at A. V. Theater. This program chief guest Prof. Dr. B. N. Beard sir, Chair persons Prof. Dr. P. R. Mandlik sir, All the Respected faculty members of Department of Chemistry were present for this program.
Total 107 students chemistry offering subject with the combination of microbiology, environmental science, biotechnology, physics, mathematics, botany and zoology participated in this activity. Mean while, all the students participated spontaneously and enjoyed this event in studious atmosphere.
Application :-

3. The quantity of yield increases as compared to traditional method.
4. The cost of experiment reduces.
5. Accuracy of product raised.
In this regard, Dr. P. R. Mandlik, Head, Department of Chemistry, made the students understand for Identify the Organic Compounds and also known micro scale apparatus. The main purposed of this activity small amount of chemical use and control the pollution. Dr. D.D. Khedkar , Coordinator , DBT Star Project had given the introduction of DBT scheme by Department of Bio Technology, Govt. of India. He introduced the students about benefits of DBT activity. At the end of programme, certificates were distributed to the all participants by the hands Dr. P. R. Mandlik Sir, Dr. A.B. Bodade, Dr. P. R. Padole, Dr. N. R. Thakare, Dr. N. H. Bansod and activity incharge Dr. S. A. Wadhal. Dr. S.P. Ingole.
Dr. Wadhal Dr. Ingole and non- teaching staff worked tirelessly for the success of the program.
