The college provides ample opportunities to talented students to participate in various cultural activities throughout the year and to participate in the University Youth festival. The Garden Club encourages participation of all the students and staff members of the college in the activities of the club. The club aims at developing awareness and aesthetic sense among the students towards nature and the environment. The other activities of the club are to provide training and landscaping, participation in flower shows and sale of seedlings at moderate prices. National Service Scheme
The college has been alloted 150 seats under the National Service Scheme. Students from all classes of senior college can apply. They are required to put in 120 hours of work per year including a 10- day camp. The main object of the camp is to motivate students to work for the upliftment of the society.
NSS endeavors to inculcate among the students self-discipline and a sense of service to humanity.
The university gives incentive marks for participation in NSS activity.

National Cadet Corps
The college has two NCC units
The 3 Mah Sig Coy for boys and the 4 Mah Bn for girls, with an intake of 100 and 150 cadets respectively.
