Reservation policy of Government of Maharashtra will be followed.

An applicant belonging to backward category will be required to submit the original caste certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of admission.

Other Instructions

At the time of admission, the applicant must produce the original leaving certificate /Transfer certificate of the institute last attended.

Duplicate T.C. will not be entertained.

If any of the statements made in the application form or any information supplied by the applicant in connection with his/her admission is found to be false/incorrect, his/her admission will be cancelled, and the fees forfeited.

Students found indulging in any activity contrary to the rules of discipline are liable to be expelled from the department without any notice.

Students of any other university should submit a migration certificate on or before 15th September, signed by the Registrar of the University from which they have migrated, and pay an immigration fee.
* Note 1 : Applicants for M.Sc. Computer S/W holding a P.G. Diploma in Computer Science and seeking admission will have their marks calculated out of 450
* Note 2 : M.Sc. Compute S/W course will be on semester (bi-annual) pattern as per university orddinance 12 of 2001.

Students not already enrolled in Amravati University will have to pay the University Enrolment fee of Rs. 25/- at the time of admission.

For study tours and educational visits, students will have to pay the educational tour expenses separately.

No student shall be admitted to the university examination unless he/she produces the relevant degree certificate in the original. A student migrating from another university must produce his/her degree certificate as per university notification

A student admitted to the Department shall have to attend at least 75% classes as per the requirements of Amravati University Ordinance.

A student once admitted to a regular course of study in this university shall not be permitted to appear for any other examination simultaneously.

It will be binding on the students to accept the medium of instruction and papers in the concerned subject taught in the department.

Information regarding examination, etc. can be found in the ordinance book, syllabus & University gazette published from time to time.

M.Sc. Computer S/W examination is of the semester pattern. Students should fill the examination form well in advance for each semester in August & December respectively, as per university notification.
