College Magazine/Wall Magazine

  

College magazine "Shivsmurti" and wall magazine "Aarohi" are run by an editorial board consisting of members of staff and students who have a flair for writing. This gives an opportunity for self expression to the students in Marathi, Hindi and English.

Dress Code/Uniform

 

The college has decided that all students of junior college including M.C.V.C., senior college UG & PG students should strictly follow the dress code/uniform. Violation will attract disciplinary action.

Guardain Teacher Scheme -

 

On joining the college each student is placed under the personal supervision and guidance of a teacher who acts as a friend, philosopher and mentor, and keeps a record of the students' progress. For details contact Prof. Mrs. L.S.Tasare of Zoology Department.

Identity Card (Bar-coded)

 

All the students of the college shall have to wear (pin up) the identity card compulsorily during college hours in the college premises, failing which action will be taken. Students are advised to collect I-card from admission committee and keep a recent photograph of size 3.1/2 x 2.1/2 cm Stamp size (B/w) photo ready with them at the time of admission.

Monitoring in College Campus -

 

The College Campus is monitored by teachers daily, shift-wise, to ensure the smooth running of the College and to crub outsiders' disturbance. Tresspassers are not allowed. Students are advised to cooperate with the monitoring committee by wearing I-Cards and dissuading their friends from frequently visiting the College.

Value Education -

 

In order to curb social evils especially relating to women/girls and to inculcate moral values, the college takes special efforts through N.S.S. & other programmes, from time to time. Prof. Mrs. Thakur, Head, Language Department, arranges lectures and programmes related to value education.
