This concession is available to Senior and Junior College students belonging to economically backward classes. As per GR No. FED/1096/P.1978/96/ of June 5, 1996, this facility is provided for three children only, for students whose parents' income is less than Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per annum. Urban candidates have to produce a certificate to this effect issued by the concerned Tehsildar; while rural students have to produce a certificate issued by the Sarpanch. The application should also be accompanied by two photo-copies of the ration card.

P.T.C.

 

This concession is available to senior and junior college students who are dependents of primary school teachers. As per  G.R. No. FED/1096/P.1978/96/ of June 13, 1996, this facility is provided for three children only.  Teachers working in Zilla Parishad schools should have the application countersigned by the Education Officer; while teachers of private schools should have the application countersigned by the competent authority. The application should be accompanied by two photo-copies of the ration card.

This concession is available senior and junior college students who are the dependents of Middle and High School teachers. As per the G.R. of 19-8-1995, this facility is offered to two children only. Teachers working in Zilla Parishad schools should have the application countersigned by the Education Officer; while teachers of private schools should have the application countersigned by the competent authority. The application should be accompanied by two photo-copies of the ration card.

 

Note:

 

As per the February 8, 1968 G.R. No. FIPS/1069/8512/C of the Department of Education and Social Welfare, the above concessions are not available to the fourth and subsequent child born after August 15, 1968.

Ex-Army-men

 

This concession is available senior and junior college students who are the dependants of retired army-men. The application should carry the signature and stamp of a competent officer of the Sainik Board.

Girls' Concession

 

All girls are offered free studentship up to Std. XII. As per G.R. No. FED/1084(2568)Edn. 5 of March 6, 1986, such girls must fill up the relevant forms for the purpose and submit it to the college office. 

 

Note:

 

Application forms for all the above mentioned concessions are available at the Consumers' Co-operative Stores on the college campus. The applications should reach the college office by July 30, 2007
